Top right hand corner, just above the Temperature. It is a doc icon with a blue arrow.

I missed it also, the icon is a bit small. Maybe a label would help.

A suggestion for improvement would be download date range. Unless I am missing something (quite likely :? ), you can only download the 24 hours of data displayed.

An even more helpful facility would be an auto download on a schedule or maybe an auto email with an attachment. At the moment I am using PV Bean Counter that seems to do the trick though it is a bit quirky. Data is pushed into a database file which can be read at your leisure. I am still playing with the configuration to get the sort of output I want but I think it will probably suffice.

Another vote for downloading the entire data series.

Limiting to 24hrs is not very useful when attempting to analyse and determine trends.

When will this be an option be added?

Just above the Temperature reading on the panel on the right, there is a small icon depicting a page and a down arrow (unfortunately it is not labelled). Click on this and the displayed data is downloaded as a .csv file.

The system is rather clunky and you have to go back and display the day's data you want to download in 24hr chunks. If you read this thread you will see that a somewhat better facility has been requested, as yet to no avail. The readings you get are at approximately 5 min intervals.

In my opinion an automatic download facility would be best with a daily or weekly email with the data. A slight improvement on the current system would be a download facility between specified dates.

I have tried PV Beancounter (Google for it) which has a facility to capture CurrentCost data but I cannot get it to work consistently. I believe others find it satisfactory so it must just be me who is a bit dull:(

if you have a pachube account (its now free) you can download data from them - If you want to download data greater than a year old you wll need to claim you feed first (warning this can sometimes freeze the currentcost dashboard and wi need it re-adding

"http://api.pachube.com/v2/feeds/12483/datastreams/1.csv?start=2011-12-15T00:00:00Z&end=2011-12-15T24:00:00Z&per_page=1000&page=1&interval=300"

remove the "'s they are there to stop the link activating
http://api.pachube.com/v2/feeds/12483/d ... terval=300

the above query will return all of the datapoints for energy on 15/12/2012 for my feed

things you might want to change ...

12483 - your feed number
interval=300 - every 5 mins there are some limits on the interval and time span you can retrieve
per_page=1000 - max results per page
1.csv - the energy feed, would be 0.csv for the temperature
start=2011-12-15T00:00:00
end=2011-12-15T24:00:00
page=1 - needed for multiple pages

The following query returns both the temp and energy for each datapoint

"http://api.pachube.com/v2/feeds/12483.csv?start=2010-12-15T12:00:00Z&end=2010-12-16T13:00:00Z&per_page=1000&interval=300"

http://api.pachube.com/v2/feeds/12483.c ... terval=300

you have to replace datastreams/1.csv with 12483.csv

hope this helps

Today we have rolled out a new download mechanism for feedback from our early adopters on my.currentcost.com.
The new download process allows you to select whichever channels you wish and to specify a date range. Currently the date range is restricted to 7 days. This may well change in the future. However we would like to see how this initial release goes and we can look to extend the date range in the future depending on feedback from this initial phase.

If you are an Early Adopter on my.currentcost.com, you can access the new download mechanism from your dashboard:

1. Click the new download image located above the temperature and you will be redirected to the download page.
2. Select the date range you would like to download.
3. Select the channels you would like to download.
4. Click the submit button.
5. The data will be downloaded and processed in the background.
6. You will receive an email notification when your CSV file is ready to download.
7. Download the CSV file either from the new download page or from the link inside the email notification.

We will look to roll this out to all users following feedback from early adopters. If you wish to be added as an early adopter on my.currentcost.com, then please send an email to helpme@currentcost.com and we will add you to the group.
