Is there a way to view historical data on the Current Cost Dashboard? Apart from clicking back one day at a time.... ;) I use my device to monitor solar panels and would love to be able to compare previous months etc. That was a nice feature of the Google PowerMeter.

Are there plans to add that functionalty to the CC Dashboard?

The Dashboard display needs to be improved. Picking from Day/Week/Month display. Maybe longer than a single day, being displayed.

Maybe, also being able to download more than a single day.

If you have a PC on all the time this product may be of interest.

http://home-energy.meniscus.co.uk/

or

http://pvoutput.org/

It is possible now to have a small server which eats under 20watts of electricity.

My one eats 16 watts.

Automan.

I am working hard to get this feature integrated into the dashboard. Specifically I am waiting for the datastore to make this data available. At present, there is no way to grab the total value for a week or a month, without looping through all the days. This would be a slow process. I am told that this is being worked on. As soon as it is available I will let you all know.

That would be fantastic. If the data is held in a SQL database, there are very simple queries that can be used to obtain total values (SUM) for a range of dates. It is all possible, so I wish you well!

+1 from me too. It would be really great if there was an export option (to csv) for daily kwh power consumption between a date range, so I could then graph the results in excel. I have a need to identify a date when a hotwater system started using excessive power and a graph would make this really quick and easy.

Me, too. I was away overseas for a month and it was a pain to click back through each day to get the data.
